CHECK-IN

Account & Subscriptions

From account creation and subscription retrieval to changing devices, first confirm that the account credentials and client subscription come from the same user panel.

What do I need to register?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that is easy to remember but not shared with other websites, and keep your password secure. From the user panel, you can choose a plan, retrieve your subscription, and access client downloads.
Where can I find my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and open Account Overview or the client download area to retrieve the subscription for your account. Import it into a supported client rather than looking for static installers or public links on marketing pages.
How do I update my subscription link?
Find the current subscription in your client and choose Update, Refresh, or Fetch Configuration. If the route list does not change, confirm that you imported the subscription currently shown in the user panel, then fully quit and reopen the client. If it still fails, delete the old configuration and import it again.
Do I need to buy again after changing devices?
No. Changing devices does not require another purchase. 05VPN supports simultaneous use on unlimited devices, so the same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. On a new device, open the client download area from the user panel and import the subscription again.
What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?
A subscription link is an account access credential. Do not post it in group chats, forums, screenshots, or public documents. If the link may have been exposed, stop forwarding it and report the situation through the ticket area in the user panel so the account and subscription status can be checked.
Account note: Get both the client and subscription from the user panel. Do not rewrite subscription content manually or save the subscription publicly as an ordinary URL.

CONNECTION DESK

Connections & Issues

Handle connection problems as separate cases: “the client is not taking over traffic,” “the subscription is not updated,” or “the app is not forwarding traffic according to the rules.” This avoids repeated reinstalls without identifying the cause.

The client says it is connected, but webpages still will not open. What should I do?
Switch to another route and reopen the target webpage. Then check whether the client has enabled the system proxy or global takeover, and whether the browser is retaining a failed page in its cache. If only one website is affected, test it in another browser to avoid mistaking a site-side outage for a route problem.
Why is a particular app not using the proxy?
The client may be in split-routing mode, with the app’s connection classified as direct by the rules. Battery saving, background restrictions, or local network settings may also interfere with traffic takeover. Temporarily switch to global mode for comparison. Once access works, check per-app proxy settings and bypass lists.
What should I do if no routes appear after importing the subscription?
Confirm that you copied the complete subscription content, including all opening and closing characters. Then update the subscription in the client and check whether it has been disabled. If the client reports a format error, copy the subscription again from the user panel and re-import it. Do not edit the link manually.
What should I do if switching routes makes no difference?
Some clients keep existing connections, so active playback or downloads continue over the old route. After switching routes, close the relevant webpage or app, disconnect the client, and connect again. To confirm that the exit location changed, reopen the checking page after the new connection is established.
What should I do if the client will not connect automatically after a system restart?
Check that startup and automatic connection are both enabled, and confirm that the system is not preventing the client from running in the background. If the subscription has not been updated for a while, update the configuration manually before testing automatic connection. If the issue persists, disable auto-start, save the settings, and enable it again.
Troubleshooting order: Update the subscription first, then switch routes and check the client’s takeover mode. Re-import only after confirming that the configuration is still abnormal.

ROUTE CONTROL

Speed & Routes

Your experience depends on the local network, selected route, target service, and current connection conditions. Compare routes based on the service you need to access.

How should I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?
Pause bandwidth-heavy downloads, cloud syncing, and system updates, then compare other routes in the same region. If several target services slow down, restart your local network equipment and reconnect. If only streaming is affected, lower the video quality to check whether the connection recovers, then choose a route matching the content region.
Should I choose a route by distance or by the target region?
For everyday browsing and work, start with a geographically closer route. For services with region-specific content, prioritize a route in the same region as the target service. 05VPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes, so choose based on your destination rather than the route name alone.
Why is the speed test fast while real-world use is still slow?
A speed test usually reflects short-term transfer performance between the test server and the current route. It does not fully represent the combined performance of the target website, content source, and local network. Test the service you actually plan to use and compare routes in different regions instead of relying on a single speed test.
How should I choose a route for streaming?
First confirm which region the content belongs to, then choose a route in that region. Reopen the streaming app or webpage after connecting so the new connection takes effect. If the page opens but playback fails, clear the service’s cache and old session, then compare another route in the same region.
Are frequent disconnects caused by the route or my local network?
Switch between different routes on the same device and observe the result. If all routes disconnect at once, check the local wireless network, router, and system background restrictions. If only a specific route is affected, update the subscription and choose another route. Comparing mobile and fixed networks can also help identify the source of the problem.
Route tip: For regular webpages, start with a nearby region. For services with region-specific content, choose a route whose region matches the target content.

FARE & REFUND

Billing & Refunds

Before purchasing, distinguish monthly subscriptions, which reset data on the activation date, from data packages that never expire. Then choose based on your usage frequency and data needs.

What monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your usual use, video quality, and download needs rather than comparing prices alone.
Does a data package reset every month?
No. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, whose data resets monthly on the activation date, these packages suit users with irregular usage.
How is a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade calculated?
For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining status, and target tier in the user panel, then complete the order using the details shown on the page so the upgrade is not confused with opening a new plan.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Before paying, verify the plan name, amount, and payment method on the order page. After payment, return to the user panel to check the order and subscription status. Do not create duplicate orders for the same purpose.
How do I request a refund?
05VPN offers 30-day no-questions-asked refunds. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, describe the relevant order and refund request, and retain the payment details shown on the order page. Review the refund policy first to understand its scope and process.
